Broadway has always been envisioned as the grand tree-lined boulevard of the Upper West Side. There's mid-rise apartment buildings and undeveloped properties side by side. Several very fine buildings including the famous, full-block courtyard buildings known as the Apthorp and the Belnord, on the west side between 78th and 79th Streets and on the east side between 86th and 87th Streets, can be found here.
